The IVCC Mens Golf team won the Conference season opening tournament Tuesday @ Lake Bracken Country Club in Galesburg. Freshman Peyton Pyszka (Peru - St. Bede HS) was the tournament medalist shooting an impressive even par 71. A pleased Coach Kennedy said," Our team has played a lot of golf already this Spring in some tough weather conditions. It was satisfying to see all of their hard work rewarded with a conference tournament victory. Our entire team contributed, but what a terrific Medalist performance for Peyton Pyszka!" The Eagles return to action next week, Tuesday April 16th @ Senica's Oak Ridge Golf Course.
