The IVCC Mens Golf team took 4th place Thursday August 28th at the Charger Classic contested at Lake Bracken Country Club in Galesburg.  Freshman Clay Wells (Fieldcrest HS) paced the Eagles and finished 7th overall.  IVCC Mens Golf Coach Kennedy said, " It was terrific to see freshman Clay Wells record his 1st of many more to come top 10 individual finishes.  Clay is a strong young man who just punishes the golf ball.  It's exciting to watch Clay develop and imagine how he will help the Eagles the next 2 years."  The IVCC Men return to action Tuesday September 4th with a trip to Eagle Ridge Resort in Galena Illinois.
