The IVCC Mens Golf team finished 8th out of 15 teams at the IVCC Fall Invitational held Friday September 20th at Senica's Deer Park Country Club and Saturday September 21st at Senica's Oak Ridge Golf Course. Individually, Spencer Marquez (Bureau Valley HS) secured another Top 10 finish by placing 8th in a strong 95 player field. IVCC Mens Golf Coach Sean Kennedy said, " Overall, I am pleased with the consistent effort the Eagles displayed. 308 and 310 are solid team scores considering the weather conditions. If we could have gotten a few more putts to drop over the 2 days we could have put a serious dent in a deep and talented scoreboard. Terrific to see Spencer earn another Top 10, his hard work this Summer is being rewarded."
