Freshman Clay Wells (Fieldcrest HS) notched his 1st Top 5 individual finish by placing 3rd overall at the Wolf Pack Invitational hosted by Madison Tech.  Wells 4 over par 76 helped lead the IVCC Mens Golf team to a 7th place finish overall at Hawks Landing Resort Golf Course in Verona Wisconsin.  IVCC Mens Golf Coach Sean Kennedy said, " It was terrific to see all of Clay's hard work rewarded.  Clay has a tremendous amount of potential and I am confident his best golf is still ahead of him.  Hopefully, this is the 1st of many more Top 5 individual awards for Clay!"  The Eagles return to action Wednesday September 11th at the IVCC Fall match Play Quad hosted at Fyre Lake National Golf Course in Sherrard.
