The IVCC Women's Soccer Team signed Mendota High School Seniors, Gaby Nanez & Mia Preciado to national letters of intent.
Coach Rey Arteaga says of Goal Keeper Mia Preciado, "although her new position is one of the hardest positions, her goalie ability will be one that she an only improve upon. She is vocal in the back and willing to take charge to control her defenders. She has such confidence and cannot wait to get on the field with her new back line."
Additionally, Arteaga comments on Defender Gaby Nuzez, "she is very solid in the back, not wanting to back away from a challenge. She is always one of the first to go defend a ball and make sure it is clear for her back line and goalie."
Coach Arteaga adds, "The partnership between Gaby and Mia will only strengthen the other around them."
